For more than 60 years FLYC has provided a community environment for it’s members while promoting boating education and safe practices.
Facility
FLYC has an expansive facility including a 2 story clubhouse for formal and informal gatherings, an outside covered patio with tv’s, fireplace, and bar area adjacent to our docks, a full size pool, outdoor grilling and a bocce ball court. As part of the club’s desire for continuous improvement and growth, a special long range planning committee that answers directly to the Board of Directors was developed to address future needs of our members.
MARINA
FLYC has a full service marina with 20 club owned slips for rental and 93 member owned slips ranging from 30-85 ft, discounted fuel pricing, and the ability to purchase and customize your own slip. A dock staff of 4 is available for assistance. All marina services are available to members only.
Social
Thoughout the year, FLYC has multiple club theme parties and an unlimited number of informal gatherings including music on our rooster dock. We are also a leading participant in the VOL Navy and our boats and members are always present at VOL football games. Our club supports the local boating community by providing service and docking facitlities to TWRA and the Knox County Sheriffs department, use of our facilities for the the TN Power Squardrant for boater safety training, and long standing support to the Fort Loudoun Lake Association. Membership in FLYC enables members docking and reciprocal privileges at many other yacht clubs.
